We are beginning to see a change in this hot & dry weather pattern that has been sitting over the region the last five days or so. Afternoon highs are going to be nearly 10 degrees cooler than Sunday. Brookings this morning has a 24 hour temperature difference of 24 degrees. Gradual cooling will continue through midweek. By Wednesday, seasonal temperatures are expected.
Aside from the heat relief, we aren’t catching a break from the dry weather. It will continue through the end of the week. The only chance for any rain droplets will be late this afternoon across Siskiyou & Lake Counties and drizzle along the Coast Tuesday & Wednesday. Even so, I feel the thundershower activity will remain to our south east and we will only see cloud development.
Overall, the week is looking very nice. Temperatures will cool down and sky conditions will remain clear!
