High pressure will build into the West these next couple of days, allowing our temperatures to climb. We’ll be flirting with 100 across West Side Valleys by Wednesday. Skies will stay sunny across inland locations and will start off with clouds and fog at the coast. For now, the weather will stay quiet and hot.
A new air mass will move in for the holiday weekend. This is going to bump our temperatures down quite a bit and also bring in some clouds. Saturday and Sunday look to be partly sunny region-wide and cooler. If you’re traveling north through this time frame, you may encounter a few showers. The coast will stay cloudy throughout the weekend and some light and spotty rain drops can’t be ruled out either.
We’ll continue the cooling trend into Labor Day. At this point, the clouds will exit our area but the cooler temperatures will stick around. It should turn out to be a gorgeous day across all inland locations.
