Students Wash Cars for Sparrow

MEDFORD, Ore. — McGloughlin Middle School students are raising money for their Sparrow.

Brandi Moore has been struggling with Lupus over the past year. Her friends at school have been raising money to pay back a local bank that donated about $2,500 for her medical services.

“Brandi is my friend and I just want to make sure that she stays healthy and I don’t want to lose a friend,” said student Ashley Sanders.

The students complete community service in honor of Moore. Saturday’s car wash was the second of its kind. The students also held a coin drive for Moore, raising $1,400.
