WHITE CITY, Ore. — The Farm to Market Nutrition Fair stopped by Mountain View Elementary School Thursday. It’s a program visiting several Rogue Valley schools, transforming their cafeterias into a carnival for a day. A salad bar featured fruits and vegetables for each letter of the alphabet. Most of the food served was sources from the Northwest.
Students could also visit different stands learning how what kinds of crops grow in the region and how to plant and cook the plants themselves.
