Students Face Early Exclusion DayKLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — More than 250 students in Klamath Falls received letters saying they are required to get a vaccination that protects them from pertussis. To keep the illness from the community, Klamath County Public Health has ordered a special Exclusion Day for students.

To encourage students to get the booster as soon as possible before Exclusion Day, there are multiple scheduled events offering free “TDap” immunization clinics. Below are the dates and locations.

November 4 – Henley Middle School – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
November 6 – Ponderosa Junior High – 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
November 7 – Ponderosa Junior High – 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
November 8 – Brixner Junior High – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The immunization will be free to everyone, uninsured or insured. However, it is only available to students who received the letter.
