Students Address Homelessness In Ashland

ASHLAND, Ore. — SOU students are doing their part to address the issue of homelessness in their community.

“Ashland Unroofed” is a student organization at Southern Oregon University. Wednesday night, they hosted a panel of homeless advocates and members of the homeless community, to answer questions from SOU students.

“Ashland Unroofed” hopes to take this information and fomulate a plan moving forward so they too can contribute to solving the problems the homeless face, including the feasability of a shelter and fundraising to support Ashland’s homeless.
