A cooler air mass will stay in place today over the Northwest. This will keep high temperatures below average and similar to yesterday. There are some areas of fog based off of current conditions and webcams. Siskiyou Summit is starting off with pretty thick fog and Mt. Sexton has been reporting a visibility near 1 mile throughout the morning. It should burn off quickly today as the sun rises.
Along and east of the Cascades, another round of clouds will move in for the afternoon but elsewhere we’ll keep mostly clear skies around. Pollen levels are moderate today for trees & low for grasses.
By Wednesday, we add on more than 10 degrees to high temperatures. The weather will remain dry and inactive into the weekend, as a ridge of high pressure builds back into the West. This will keep sky conditions clear to mostly clear through the end of the week. With the fire danger level at high for Jackson and Josephine Counties, we’ll need to be extra careful with outdoor activities into this next weekend.
