State Track Meet, Day Three

EUGENE, Ore. – Last year Venessa D’Arpino won three individual titles at the 4A OSAA Track Meet. This year Venessa only won one individual title. Her sister, Kerissa, won two individuals and the twins combined for Gold in the 4 x 100 relay. The North Valley girls team won the 4A team title as well. The D’Arpino’s led a number of Southern Oregon athletes with state championships on the final day of the meet. The Knights were the only team winners from the region. The Grants Pass girls finished 3rd in the 6A while the Hidden Valley boys were 2nd in the 4A. Individual state title champions are listed below.

4A Girls:
North Valley (McKenzie Comyford, Kerissa D’Arpino, Megan Hoback, Venessa D’Arpino) – 4 x 100 Relay
Kerissa D’Arpino, North Valley – 100 Meter Dash
Kerissa D’Arpino, North Valley – 200 Meter Dash
Venessa D’Arpino, North Valley – 400 Meter Dash
Willow Charlton, Henley – 100 Meter Hurdles

4A Boys

Ronnie Manley, Brookings-Harbor – Javelin
