A weak disturbance moving in is causing some moisture to enter the area. This moisture will be in the form of cloud coverage throughout the day. No precipitation is expected to fall with this system. Clouds will be spotty through all inland areas. The coast will see the fog stick around for this morning and then higher clouds will stick around the rest of the day. Temperatures will be a little cooler today but not by much. Winds will also pick up during the day in all areas as this system pushes through.
High pressure is slated to build back in after this disturbance passes. Temperatures will again warm up as the warmer air pushes in. This high pressure will sit over the area into the weekend. Temperatures will be anywhere from 10-15 degrees above average. Some high thin cirrus will be seen moving in towards the end of the weekend as next week is shaping up to be a more active weather pattern. Models are still in disagreement on when the rain will fall, but confidence is high that we will see measurable amounts of precipitation next week.
Thanks for logging on and have a great day!
