Oregon State improved to 3-0 this postseason, and 15-5 all-time under Pat Casey, in elimination games in an 11-4 College World Series win over Louisville Monday at TD Ameritrade Park, giving the Beavers a school-record 51st win of the season.
New Ownership at Grants Pass Downs

After years of losing money, Josephine County is turning to the Southern Oregon Horse Racing Association to help rescue horse racing at Grants Pass Downs. After the first weekend of the season, it appears the track is heading in the right direction.

Ducks' Season Ends With Loss To Rice

Rice scored seven runs in the first three innings and Oregon never really recovered as the Owls won 11-4 in the Eugene Regional Tournament on Monday at PK Park. The Ducks ended their season with a school record 48 wins, while the Owls advanced to play at North Carolina State in the NCAA Super Region

Michael Conforto hit a grand slam and the 6th-ranked Oregon State baseball team finished with 17 hits in a 12-2 win over No. 10 Oregon at PK Park. The game marked the Civil War series finale. The Beavers now lead the PAC-12 by two games.

Beavers Lose CWS Opener To MSU

Danny Hayes had a potential game-winning home run caught at the warning track and Michael Conforto became the first OSU player to get four hits at the NCAA College World Series, but the Beavers dropped the opening game to Mississippi State, 5-4.

SOU Defense Wins Spring Game 54-40

The SOU defense came up with some key turnovers in the second half, beating the offense 54-40 in the Red & Black Spring Game. A fumble recovery by Brian Keathly and a pick by Le'dontrae Gooden helped turn the tide for the Raiders defense.

Former Southern Oregon standout wide receiver Cole McKenzie was hoping to get drafted into the NFL. Instead, he got the next best thing. McKenzie signed as an undrafted free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He will report to camp on May 2nd.

The Skyline reigns supreme in the OSAA 4A State Tournament. Both the North Valley boys and the Mazama girls win titles. Meanwhile, in the 6A girls tournament, South Medford moved a step closer to defending their title with a win over Tigard.
