MEDFORD, Ore. — An organization with the goal of empowering children to help local kids in need is expanding in Oregon.
Sparrow Clubs’ Southern Oregon Regional Director is taking on a new responsibility. Matt Sampson will now be the Oregon Director, helping the organization “take flight” throughout the state.
“We now have the opportunity to take Sparrow Clubs and the values it teaches to so many schools and kids in the state of Oregon,” Sampson said.
Sampson took the position of Southern Oregon Director back in May of 2006. Now, with the new title along with his responsibilities in our region, he will be traveling to Portland a few days a month expanding the program there.
The move also means he’s able to hire someone to help locally.
