MEDFORD, Ore. — Tuesday afternoon, ten applicants for this year’s Southern Oregon Angel Investors Grant got a chance to practice their pitch to a panel of experts.
Next month, the applicants will have to present at the Jefferson Grape Vine before a live audience, who will vote for five of the entrepreneurs to move on. On Tuesday, entrepreneurs said they focused on six talking points including their marketing plan and revenue model.
“They asked some good questions that I will have better answers for in the next presentation and my expectation too is that I will move my business plan forward for the next stage,” said social entrepreneur Christine Brautigam.
In April, those final five will present one last time at the angel conference where one will walk away with the grant.
