SOU’s Carr Breaks Career Goals Record

ASHLAND, Ore. – Southern Oregon forward Stephanie Carr scored a goal in the 33rd minute to break a scoreless tie with Northwest Christian. The goal was the 33rd of her career, which breaks the Raiders’ all-time goals record previously held by Katie Emerson.

Carr tied the record on Oct. 5 against Warner Pacific. Today was her last home game so the Upland, California native was able to set the record in front of her mother.

Carr later recorded an assist as well as the Raiders defeated the Beacons, 3-0. Southern Oregon moves to 7-5-2 overall and 3-2-1 in conference. They will head to Klamath Falls to take on rival Oregon Tech on Sunday.
