LAKE OF THE WOODS, Ore. — Another foot of snow is still needed in order for crews to begin grooming the snowmobile trails.
“We’re ready to snowmobile. Everybody wants to hit the snow right now and we don’t have enough snow on the trails to start grooming. But if we get another six inches to a foot out of this storm we’re going to be good to go,” George Gregory with Lake of the Woods Resort said.
Gregory said they did have a foot of snow, but rain melted that away.

The Fish Lake trails are going to be groomed starting 12/21/12
Make sure you keep an eye out for our Tucker SnoCats out on the trails.
