MEDFORD, Ore. — All three passengers were able to walk away from a small plane crash at the Rogue Valley International Medford Airport on Sunday evening. The small, private plane was coming in from Bend when its landing gear didn’t deploy properly. The plane reportedly slid on its nose.
Airport officials say the single engine Beechcraft carried a pilot and two passengers. There were no injuries, according to officials.
The main runway at the airport closed because of the crash. Investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board must approve the plane’s removal from the crash location before it can be taken away.
