Crystal clear skies are continuing to bring cool morning temperatures to our region. High pressure will be the dominant weather feature over the Northwest in the coming days. An east, northeasterly wind will enhance the Chetco Effect again today in Brookings. Yesterday, the airport hit 77 and again today the mid 70’s are expected.
With the exception of the passing of a weak front Wednesday, no disturbances will move through in the near future. This system will bring rain to Washington, but Southern Oregon and Northern California will see no impact.
High temperatures will gradually warm and by the end of the week will exceed average temperatures. The valleys will warm into the mid 70’s and the Klamath Basin into the mid and upper 60’s.
