Single Mom to Get New Home

Single Mom to Get New HomeMEDFORD, Ore. — A single mom of two young children will be moving into a new home through Habitat for Humanity. Tifini Wright currently lives in an affordable housing complex with her two children.

She says the conditions in her current rental are not up to par. But her newly renovated home has more space inside and outside. “Outside space is extremely important for young children. They need to be outside at least two hours a day,” Wright said.

Habitat for Humanity sold Wright the home with 30 years no interest. “I would never be able to do this without this program. It’s a dream come true.”

The dedication for Habitat for Humanity’s 52nd home will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. on the 400 block of Haven Street in Medford.
