The high pressure ridge will continue to flatten this weekend which means the cooling trend continues with highs dropping below average Sunday and Monday, that’s 20 to 30 degrees cooler than the heat this week! A weak front will bring a chance for isolated showers Saturday afternoon, mainly in the Cascades and Siskiyous with a slight chance at the coast and west side valleys. The low associated with this front will move in Sunday.
Sunday will bring increasing showers to all areas with a slight chance for isolated thunderstorms at the Coast and Cascades. Monday afternoon showers will continue and we’ll bring in a better chance for thunderstorms for all areas. Tuesday there is a chance for isolated afternoon showers in Siskiyou county with drier conditions for southern Oregon. Warmer and drier weather returns for the rest of the work week.
Thanks for logging on and have a great evening!
