Showers, Then Sunshine and Fog

video preview image

A strong jet-stream is bringing high winds to the cascades and mountain areas above 5,000 feet.  Blowing and drifting snow, with additional accumulations of 1 to 2 inches over Lake of the Woods and Diamond Lake.  Lighter amounts will fall, with possible icy conditions on Siskiyou Summit.

The showers will continue as light and brief bouts of wetness in the Rogue Valley on Tuesday, but dry and partly cloudy skies are expected Wednesday and Thursday.  Sunny skies, but increasing valley fog later in the week.
