Clouds will be increasing tonight into tomorrow ahead of a cold front that will bring showers to the coast tomorrow spreading inland during the afternoon on Thursday. Showers will mainly impact the coast and the Cascades with isolated light shower activity for inland areas. Spotty showers will be possible into the weekend though Saturday most shower activity will be confined to the coast and the Cascades, but I can’t rule out a sprinkle or two in the valleys. Snow levels will be above the major passes into the weekend so travel impacts should be minimal, Diamond Lake may see snow at times but snow levels will be climbing into the weekend.
Next week the warm-up really takes off with highs near 80 for our west side valleys and near 70s on the east side! Sunshine and dry conditions will be the story to start next week as high pressure returns to the region.
