Temperatures managed to warm into the 60’s this afternoon. High temperatures in Medford were in the mid 60’s, the low 60’s in Grants Pass, and the mid 50’s in Klamath Falls. Some shower activity developed later in the afternoon across the viewing area, but has now diminished. For this reason, the chance for a shower will remain in the forecast this evening.
The NW flow will shift eastward tomorrow and this will lead to mostly clear skies for the valleys and Basin. Clouds will increase along the Coast, however, ahead of our next storm system. By Monday evening rain showers will begin and continue through Tuesday. I do think most areas will see mainly cloudy conditions Tuesday with the exception of the Coast and higher terrain, but an isolated shower is certainly possible.
Wednesday & Thursday rain showers will persist for all of the viewing area. Snow levels are going to be fairly high so snow is not a concern with these systems.
