Sheriff’s Office Investigate Burglary

MEDFORD, Ore. — Homeowners at a Medford residence are out of thousands of dollars after a reported burglary. On Thursday, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3600 block of Dodson Drive in Medford for a report of burglary.

According to the victims, the house was empty from 9:50 a.m. until about 4:00 p.m. that afternoon. During the investigation, it was determined the suspect or suspects entered the home through a window that was left open and the screen had been removed.

The sheriff’s office says the suspect(s) left some parts of the house ransacked as they moved through the house, opening doors and searching for items. The suspect(s) took 13 guns (a mix of handguns and rifles), an iPad, and a laptop computer. Total value of the items is estimated to be $16,650.
