Klamath Falls, Ore. —  A 7 year veteran with the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office is fighting for his life after Wednesday’s shooting during a traffic stop.

The Klamath County District Attorney’s office said Deputy Jason Weber was shot yesterday before noon, while trying to pull over a vehicle.  The sheriff’s office said he was shot twice, once in the face and once in the side.

The deputy is now in serious, but stable condition at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland.  We’re told he is undergoing surgery today under the care of more than half a dozen physicians.

Two suspects, William Parkerson and Karey Pascoe are facing charges related to the shooting.
