bradley monicalMEDFORD, Ore. — Two days after an escaped inmate is arrested, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Winters is finally speaking out to the media.

On Tuesday, U.S. Marshals in Oregon City put Bradley Monical back behind bars.

November 19th last year he escaped from the Jackson County Jail, which prompted a large search effort and reward. Last year, the sheriff said Monical had got out of the recreation area on the top floor of the jail, then jumped to a tree before getting away.

Monical had originally been in the Jackson County Jail on armed robbery charges.
