ASHLAND, Ore. — The Oregon Shakespeare festival is putting its talents to work to try to help hungry families in Southern Oregon.
The festival teamed with the Access food network for Tuesday’s “Feed the Valley” event. People attending the OSF Green Show were asked to donate non-perishable food items, and in return, they were treated to musical performances from a dozen OSF employees, including actors and producers. Even some of the performing artists also pledged to make a donation.
This is the first year that the Shakespeare festival Green Show has teamed with access.
