MEDFORD, Ore. — U.S. Senator Ron Wyden (D) dropped through Medford and Grants Pass as part of his annual town hall tour. It’s Wyden’s 19th year of holding town hall meetings in every county in Oregon. Sunday he spoke with voters about jobs, health care and the state’s timber future.
“The reason we do these is to throw open the doors of government. Nobody every committed to doing something like this before I started it,” Wyden said.
Medford’s afternoon town hall marks his 687th meeting since he came into office in 1996.
