ASHLAND, Ore. — Traffic near Ashland was blocked for nearly two hours Monday morning when a semi-truck nearly tipped over, blocking a bridge.

At around 8 a.m., a semi was turning from Highway 99 onto Valley View Road and cut the corner too soon.

The rear wheels of the long trailer climbed up onto the abutment of the bridge over Bear Creek, nearly tipping over.

No one was injured in the accident, but the access between Interstate 5 and the freeway was blocked for more than an hour.
