Missing Jacksonville Woman Found

MISSING WOMANUPDATE: Police say Jani Bennett has been located in Ashland, Oregon on Thursday.

[PREVIOUS] JACKSONVILLE, Ore. — Jacksonville Police Department are searching for a missing woman with a history of dementia.

Jani Bennett was reported to be a missing person from her residence at Pioneer Village 895 N 5th St #B313 on Wednesday night.

Bennett has a history of dementia. She was last seen in the parking lot of Sears on March 26; she was described as wearing dark slacks, blue top and a gray scarf carrying a reusable shopping bag.

    Our resident at Pioneer Village visited the hospital’s emergency room on Wednesday for health concerns. The resident’s elopement occurred from the hospital and not our community. She may be suffering from an acute sense of confusion. Her safety is our utmost concern. We would appreciate thoughts and prayers as our search efforts for our resident continue.
