Search for Missing, Diabetic Man

CARLOS RUIZWHITE CITY, Ore. — The Jackson County Sheriff’s office is searching for Carlos Ruiz, 30 of White City, who is believed to be missing. Ruiz has some mental disabilities and severe diabetes, according to a press release from the Sheriff’s office. He does not currently have his pill or insulin with him. He is hispanic, 5’4”, weighs about 390 pounds, short black hair, a mustache and brown eyes.

Ruiz was last leaving his residence in the 3600 block of Antelope Rd. in White City on Fri., July 11 around noon to go get auto parts at O’Reilly’s in Medford, but he never returned home. He’s driving a 2003 light blue Dodge Caravan, with Oregon license plates that read 139DES.

Mr. Ruiz’s family has been tracking him by the credit card he’s using, which showed he did make it to O’Reilly’s on Friday and the last usage was Sunday night around 9:00 p.m. at the 76 Gas Station in Ashland. He was reported missing this morning by his family when he didn’t come home.
