Search Continues to Find Missing Man

Chris EvansEAGLE POINT, Ore. — A White City man who was last seen on his birthday in May is still missing.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Office says 25-year-old Chris Evans was last seen at the Eagle Point Wal-Mart Store on his birthday over three months ago. They say they’re concerned about his safety.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help to see if anyone remembers seeing him. They’re interested in talking with anyone who had come in contact with Evans on May 29th or currently, around southern Oregon. They described him as “living under the radar” and say he didn’t really want to be noticed.

Family members say it’s not like Evans to go this long without contacting them or other people he knew.

“We’re hearing from friends and family, he has people he keeps in touch with and he hasn’t so, that’s what concerning,” said detective Julie Denney.

Evans is about 6’3″ and weighs about 175 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes  and has multiple tattoos on his neck, back and arms.
