MEDFORD, Ore. — Stevia is a natural alternative to artificial sweeteners and sugar. It can be fairly expensive to buy, but Scott takes a look at how easy it is to grow in our area.
While stevia is a plant that’s easy to grow, it requires some processing to use in place of sugar. OSU Master Gardener Mary Foster has some advice on the process.

Scott,
I love the idea of making my own stevia sweetner, but you didn’t say where we could purchase the actual plant? Please let me know where I can purchase it.
Thank you,
Kelly
