School Gets Free Supplies for Students

school suppliesBUTTE FALLS, Ore. — The Butte Falls Elementary School has received a donation from a website to provide its students with new school supplies.

DonorsChoose.org is a website that allows teachers to post requests for classroom supplies or tools, and then donors choose to fund them.

One teacher at the school requested several games and classroom items from the website focused on the theme, “engaging students.”

The Horace Mann Companies has donated 368 dollars to fully fund the Butte Falls project. The website has secured funding for $206 million in books, art supplies, technology, and other resources that have supported more than 10 million students.
