A weak cold front will sweep through the viewing area today. This will bring some showers to the region but they will be light and scattered. As the front passes, winds will pick up in the higher terrain and also on the East Side. Showers will taper off this evening and cloud cover will slowly decrease after midnight.
By tomorrow high pressure regains control and begins to shift eastward. As the ridge begins to expand winds will be out of the northwest through the day bringing in some clouds from our north in the valleys. By Sunday all areas will see sunny conditions.
Temperatures are going to continue to warm through all of next week as this air mass sits over our region. Afternoon highs will be above normal across all areas, and even reach the low 80′s towards the middle and end of the week!
Thanks for logging on & enjoy your weekend!
