Saving Roller Odyssey Falls Through

Roller OdysseyMEDFORD, Ore. — An anonymous donor said his efforts to save a Medford business have fallen through.

The owners of Roller Odyssey announced the closure early last week, saying rent had been raised, and they were not going to be able to afford to stay open.

Since then, a local businessman has been working with both the rink and property owners to keep the doors open, but now he said, property owners are turning the land over to a broker.  This allows multiple buyers to place bids on that land.

NewsWatch 12 did reach out to the land owners. They would not comment on potential buyers or confirm if the property had indeed been turned over to a broker.

Good idea.. Take a viable business that serves a large community, raise the rent so they go under, and sit on another empty building for umpteen years.

I take it that I didn’t get posted because nobody like to face the truth. It’s just make you out as one who doesn’t care either.
