Salvation Army Offering Holiday Help

MEDFORD, Ore. – If you are a Southern Oregon family, who would appreciate a little extra help this Christmas, the Salvation Army wants to help you out. They are holding the last of their sign-up opportunities for their Christmas Assistance Programs today.

Today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., sign-ups will be at the former site of the Kid Time Discovery Zone on Ross Lane in Medford. Those wishing to receive help should bring identification, income verification, and proof of residence for all family members. Christmas distribution will be held December 19 and 20 at the same place.

Families in need will receive a Christmas dinner and toys for children 12 years of age and under. The Salvation Army is also in need of volunteers to make this opportunity possible. For more information on helping, call the Salvation Army at 541-773-6965.
