MEDFORD, Ore. — Shortly after 4:00 p.m. Medford Police responded to a reported armed robbery on North Riverside Drive in downtown Medford. Police report the suspect walked into walked into the Chic Salon, told workers he had a weapon and demanded money.
“According to the victims, the stylists a male entered the business and indicated he had a weapon and left with an undisclosed amount of money on foot,” said Medford Police Corporal Tom Venables.
Medford Police used a K-9 unit to try and help track down the scent of the suspect. The suspect is described as a bald Hispanic male, about 5-7′. Witnesses said he was wearing multicolored shorts a black pea coat or trench coat and possibly athletic shoes. He was last seen walking southbound on Riverside Avenue. Police say the investigation is still ongoing.

I drove by there and the police were arresting someone. There were a bunch of people around and a guy crying on the other side of the road. The guy they were arresting did not look hispanic so I don’t know if this was something separate or what
