RUCH, Ore. — A Rogue Valley organization is now helping provide preschool services to a rural community.
The Rogue Valley YMCA will now be operating the preschool at Ruch Community School. This is the first year the community will have a preschool program.
Organizers say parents began showing interest about 2 years ago, and the school said it began seeing a larger need for an early childhood education program.
“It will help these kids who would typically go into kindergarten or first grade behind, whether it be academic or behaviorally, and they are going to be ready to roll,” said Principal Julie Hill.
Classes start next Tuesday, September 10th, and the YMCA is still taking applications.
