Rogue Valley Growers Market Begins

rvgrowersLogoASHLAND, Ore.– With spring headed our way, so are some annual events. Today the Rogue Valley Growers and Crafters Market kicked off in Ashland. The market closed for the winter season last November.

Organizers say shoppers can expect a record number of vendors this year. They say there were about 60 set up today at the Ashland Armory. This up from the 40 to 45 they normally see on opening day. They also say they expect that number to go up to about 90 during its peak this summer. Organizers say the market helps inspire residents to shop and eat local.

The Medford market will kick off this Thursday at the Medford Armory at 8:30 a.m.  Saturday markets will begin in May. You can find more information here on the Rogue Valley Grower and Crafters Market website.
