Rogue River Competition Draws Crowd

NEAR GOLD HILL, Ore. — Thrill seekers spent the day rushing through the Powerhouse Rapids on a course designed by Olympic gold medalist, Oliver Fix for the King of the Rogue event Saturday.

Hundreds of spectators packed the banks of the river to watch as rafting teams, kayakers and paddle boarders plunged down the water after the fastest time and the title.
