CENTRAL POINT, Ore.– Officials said hundreds filled their stadium seats, topping last years attendance by about 1,000. While all the old favorite show features returned, this year it was a new outdoor addition of the Rogue Saloon that closed the show.
“It was a relaxed setting a big bonfire going. Then after the rodeo was over on two nights Friday and Saturday night we had live bands and people stayed and danced. I had to cut them off both nights friday and saturday,” said Jackson County Expo Manager, Dave Koellermeir.
Expo officials said they are considering having the saloon set up for the county fair and possibly the harvest festival.
