Robbery Reported at Holiday Inn Express

Suspect Injures and Threatens PoliceCENTRAL POINT, Ore. — Central Point Police are investigated a reported armed robbery that occurred early Thursday morning at the Holiday Inn Express, located at 285 Peninger Road in Central Point.

A hotel employee told police that a young male entered the lobby, displayed what appeared to be a firearm and demanded money. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.

The male suspect was described as a Caucasian male in his early 20’s, medium build, approximately 5’9” tall, weighing approximately 150-160 lbs.
