ROGUE RIVER, Ore. — Hundreds of bike riders hit the road Saturday morning for the 5th Annual Ride the Rogue event. The rides ranged from 25 to 100 miles long and all started from Palmerton Park in Rogue River.
Officials say 100% of the donations go toward completion of the bike and pedestrian path that will eventually stretch from Grants Pass to Ashland. “It is our major, in fact, our only fundraiser for the Rogue River Greenway Foundation. We appreciate the support from the communitity and we are doing our best to give back in this way,” Ride the Rogue’s Janet Boucher said.

This was a fun ride and from what I saw everyone enjoyed it. All the residents I passed along the way were friendly and welcoming. Great fun.
