High pressure will be strengthening over Oregon and California this weekend. A northwesterly flow will allow for weak weather systems to move into the Great Basin, slowing the strongest part of the ridge to build over Medford until Tuesday and Wednesday.
A strong warm-up to 80 plus will occur in the middle of next week, with slight cooling later in the week when the high weakens slightly.
Mostly off-shore flow will keep the Coastal Communities warm, dry and sunny. The marine layer, low clouds and cooler temperatures will return by the end of the week.
No agricultural problems with frost in the orchards or gardens is anticipated for the week ahead. Other than some clouds early in the weekend, sunny skies will dominate the weather through the 7 day forecast.
