Return To Seasonable Temperatures

video preview image

Temperatures start to rebound today after the passing of a cold front yesterday, we saw temperatures drop to below normal yesterday afternoon but stay up in the Basin this morning thanks to some strong morning winds.  Winds will be the story at the coast today with gusts up to 30 mph at the coast and stronger winds possible further out to sea.  This offshore flow will warm the Brookings area up much warmer than the rest of the south coast with some areas getting into the mid-80s possible!

Sunny skies will be the story across the region through the rest of the work week, even for the coastal areas.  Winds may pick up tomorrow west of the Cascades opting a Fire Weather Watch to be issued tonight through Thursday morning, remember that Fire Danger Level is at ‘Extreme.’

Like me on Facebook and send in you or your kids weather questions for a chance to have them answered during the morning show!

Thanks for logging on and have a great Tuesday!
