The North Valley Community Watch of Merlin is hosting a forum at the high school’s commons. The session is centered around public safety and current funding issues in the county.
“We want to support our government, and we want the people to come here and learn as much about the issues as they possibly can. So on May 20th, which is the Primary, they can come and make an informed decision about who they want to lead them out of ‘this’ mess; and for the next for years of public safety success,” said North Valley Community Watch’s Ken Selig.
Grants Pass Police officer Dave Daniel and Josephine County Sheriff’s deputy Ed Vincent are challenging Sheriff Gil Gilbertson on the May ballot.
The forum is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Ballots for this election must be turned in by 8 p.m. on the 20th of May.
