SALEM, Ore. — The Secretary of State is warning residents across Oregon to be prepared for robocalls regarding voter registration. Officials say there have been reports of residents getting calls stating that a resident’s voter registration is inactive.
According to the Secretary of State, these calls are not from county elections officials or the Secretary of State’s election division. County elections officials say in most cases, the registration of voters in the household are found to be up to date.
If you have any concerns about your voter registration status, you can check online. The deadline to register to vote is October 16.
