GRANTS PASS, Ore. — “Relay for Life” in Grants Pass is holding a fundraiser for the first time at a popular neighborhood bar and grill.
“Our goal is 150 thousand dollars this year, so we’ve got a pretty large goal to accomplish but its something this community can do,” says event chairman Ben Allen. “We did about 125 thousand dollars last year.”
The organization says for seven bucks you can eat breakfast this Saturday. Five dollars of that will go toward helping the American Cancer Association.
Volunteers will be serving guests too. Those interested can show up for the fundraiser or purchase tickets online at the Relay for Life website.
