This weekend is looking cool, wet, and windy. A cold front is going to move through the region this evening and continue to bring rain to our area. Some places along the Coast have seen rain totals in excess of 2 and 3 inches. Precipitation is going to be widespread this evening, and could be locally heavy at times. Winds also will begin to pick up through the evening.
By Saturday morning it should ease up a bit and become more in the way of isolated showers, but by Saturday evening our next cold front will be moving in from the West. This is when rain will then again become more widespread. Showers will be heavy at times and winds are going to be considerably breezy. The East Side has a high wind watch in effect for tomorrow night through Sunday morning. Winds could gust up to 50-70mph.
Temperatures will be cool through the day Sunday and winds will gradually die down. By Tuesday some drier air is going to move back into the region.
Thanks for logging on and enjoy the weekend!
