This next work week is getting off to a quiet & mild start. Cloud cover is preventing our temperatures from dropping this morning and for the afternoon, highs will be climbing well into the 60’s west of the Cascades & the upper 50’s for the East Side.
Showers were developing overnight but they will taper off within the next few hours. Clouds will stick around throughout much of the day for Southern Oregon, although we should see more sun into the afternoon compared to the first half of the day. Siskiyou County will be partly sunny as this thick band of clouds inches further north into Southern Oregon.
Tuesday will be even warmer than Monday. By Wednesday, showers will move in ahead of our next front due to arrive Wednesday night. This will then bring widespread showers to the area late Wednesday. Thursday & Friday will bring isolated showers to most of the area with snow levels staying high through this time period — between 5,000′ & 6,000.’
Another front is expected for the weekend and showers are in the forecast for all locations both Saturday & Sunday.
