MT. ASHLAND, Ore. – Mount Ashland has yet to see it’s first snow, but that’s not keeping workers from preparing for the ski season.
Mount Ashland Ski Area workers have been on the dry slopes since July. They’ve been doing maintenance on the snow cats, ski lifts, trails and rental equipment and next month, the ski area will hold it’s job fair to fill about 70 positions.
“Anybody that’s good with customer service, that’s we provide up there, we’re looking for people with an outgoing personality that’s eager to serve our guests,” said Development Director, Rick Saul.
Mt. Ashland Ski Area says the ski season typically begins in mid-December. Mt. Ashland Ski Area’s job fair for new applicants will be November 8th from 5 – 9 p.m. It’s happening at the Mt. Ashland Ski Lodge. You can submit a job application in advance online.
